Recently, the national standard GB/T 40283.2-2026, Automation Systems and Integration — Interoperability of Capability Units for Manufacturing Application Solutions — Part 2: Capability Templates and Software Unit Cataloguing, co-drafted by LK-TEK, was officially approved and published. The standard is scheduled to be formally implemented six months after publication.

The standard is under the technical jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Automation Systems and Integration of Standardization Administration of China (TC159) and is implemented by its Subcommittee on Architecture, Communiations and Integration Frameworks (TC159SC5). The administrative authority is the China Machinery Industry Federation.

The standard is identical to the international standard ISO 16300-2:2019, further strengthening alignment with relevant international technical specifications and supporting the standardized development of related technologies.
